Orion Blackwing

Oreo is so sweet he'd give anyone a cavity. He's a very kind soul who wouldn't think twice of giving the last of his food (or whatever it may be) to help someone else. He's very caring, protective, thoughtful, empathetic and he doesn't like seeing anyone suffer, no matter who they are or where they came from. For instance, if someone were burned/scarred, etc, he wouldn’t see anything “wrong” with them unless someone were to point it out, and even then, he still wouldn’t care. If anything, he would just want to know why they had to suffer such pain.

While he can be slow to trust, he is also quite gullible in that he takes someone at face value and believes they're being honest with him. In addition, he’s also insatiably curious, supportive, energetic, but at the same time shy. He’s full of contradictions it seems, but really, he just wants to make all the friends he can. One thing to note however is that Oreo is mute. He hasn't spoken since his mother died, and he doesn't remember if he ever did before her death. Nevertheless, he's always coming up with clever ways to communicate.

Orion was born to two purebred pegasus, however, his father had never been present, and for what brief period of time he knew his mother, he never truly had the opportunity to form a close bond with his dam. For when he was barely old enough to be on his own, she was killed in an attack by predators, and from then on, Oreo was alone. He roamed the lands endlessly, searching for what, he didn’t know, but never really settling down.

He wanted to find somewhere he belonged, and as of yet he hasn’t. That’s why he has been, as of late, chasing rumors of a veritable promised land. Someplace where he could maybe, finally, find acceptance and similar souls. Despite being alone the majority of his life, he still holds high hopes, and truly is a soul whose default emotion is happiness.
